By tweeting donations, word about the charities or causes you are interested in is spread across the twitter network. You are letting your followers know that this is something that they should check out and consider giving money to as well.

Donating is easy.

      1. Locate the code associated with the charity or cause you want to donate to.

      2. Use the following format when you post a Twitter update to donate:

            @twonate g $5.00 ASPCA here is my donation to help this great charity

            That's: @twonate(SPACE) g(SPACE) $5.00(Space) charitycode(SPACE) your message.

            This will also work: @twonate give $5 ASPCA here is my donation to help this charity

You can submit your donation via Twitter.com, SMS, Twonate.com, or your favorite 3rd party twitter application like Twhirl or TweetDeck.

This simply means you have not yet paid for the donation. Pending = Pending Payment.

Twonate operates on a "Donate Now, Pay Later" system. This makes it easy for you to make many small donations to various charities and causes without having to enter your payment information every time. Once your donations total $5.00 or more, you can then make a payment via Paypal.

To pay for your donations, click the 'PayPal' button after logging into Twonate. Currently, we accept PayPal to pay for donations. We plan to offer more payment options in the future.

Once you have paid for your donations, the charities can login to their Twonate account and request to withdrawal the funds.

Paypal charges 2.9% + $.30 per transaction. This fee is will be added to the twonator's statement during check out.

Simple. By tweeting donations, word about your charity or cause is spread across the twitter network. Once a donation is tweeted, that person's followers may also be inclined to do the same. Then of course more people will be made aware of your charity or cause drawing even more donations.

To withdraw funds, login to your Twonate account and click on the link that says "send withdraw request". We will review your request and once approved, we will send funds to your Paypal account.
